Black Tea

Our loose leaf black tea collection covers everything from malty breakfast cups to bold flavored blends. Start classic with The Library, a malty Assam with buttered toast notes, or the Essentials English Breakfast. For something sweeter, Low Country tastes of bourbon and malt, and Cabaret pairs chocolate with cherry. Fans of smoke can try Golden Arrow or Civil Disobedience.

Black tea is the boldest of the true teas, brewed with water at a full boil for 3 to 5 minutes. Most blends take milk and sugar well, and many are lovely iced. Not sure how black tea compares to the rest? Read black vs green vs oolong vs rooibos, check our brewing guide, or browse the Rich & Cozy collection for dessert-style cups.
