Golden Arrow is a loose leaf smoky black tea with toffee from Da LBI Tea. Each cup brings notes of burnt sugar, walnut and mahogany.
Golden Arrow is a strong, smoky breakfast tea built on three black teas: malty Assam, rich Yunnan and a measure of Taiwanese lapsang souchong for campfire depth. Burnt-toffee and walnut notes ride on top. It is for people who find English Breakfast a little polite, and it turns into crème brûlée the moment you add milk.
Tastes like: burnt sugar, walnut, mahogany, a wisp of smoke. Excellent iced for an intense take on classic iced tea.
How to brew: 1 teaspoon per 8 oz cup, water just off the boil (205–212°F), steep 3–4 minutes. Takes milk well. For iced tea, brew double strength and pour over ice.
Good to know: caffeinated (high, breakfast-strength), vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, non-GMO.
Ingredients: Yunnan black tea, Assam black tea, Taiwanese lapsang souchong black tea, natural caramel, vanilla and cream flavors.
Sizes: 4-cup deluxe sample ($4.99) to try it, 15-cup bag, 70-cup bag for everyday drinking.
Great for: iced tea, a cup with milk and breakfast.

Such a great tea! Satisfying touch of toffee flavor with the depth and richness of a quality black tea. For me, this is a pantry staple.

I really was surprised with this blend. The toffee flavors add the right amount of sweetness that, when paired with milk, give a silky smooth finish. I will be keeping this one around for special occasions!

I prefer the bourbon brown sugar, I couldn’t taste the caramel notes too well.

This just might have overtaken Low Country as my favorite, though they are very similar too. Very smooth and tasty.
