Chocolate Chili Black Tea, Loose Leaf Ceylon with Cinnamon | Painted Desert

Painted Desert is a loose leaf chocolate chili black tea with cinnamon from Da LBI Tea. Each cup brings notes of dried pasilla chili, Mexican cinnamon and cacao.

Painted Desert is Mexican hot chocolate as a black tea: cacao shell, true cinnamon and a slow-building pasilla chili warmth over a brisk Ceylon base. The heat is gentle, more glow than burn, and it is what makes this the favorite of chai drinkers who want something with more edge. It is one of our most popular fall and Halloween teas.

Tastes like: dried pasilla chili, Mexican cinnamon, cacao, with a salty-chocolate finish. Add milk for a rich, spicy morning cup.

How to brew: 1 teaspoon per 8 oz cup, water just off the boil (205–212°F), steep 3–4 minutes. Takes milk well. For iced tea, brew double strength and pour over ice.
