Silent Night is a loose leaf chocolate rooibos tea with nutmeg from Da LBI Tea. Naturally caffeine-free, it brews into a cup with notes of chocolate ganache, nutmeg and shortbread.
Silent Night is a rich, cocoa-like cup. Cacao shell and honeybush give a buttery, milk-chocolate depth; fresh nutmeg adds that eggnog-and-shortbread warmth; and the rooibos base keeps it smooth and completely caffeine-free. It is the blend we reach for on cold nights when a cup of cocoa sounds just right.
Tastes like: chocolate ganache, nutmeg, shortbread. With milk it is creamy and eggnog-like; with a little honey it is dessert.
How to brew: 1 heaping teaspoon per 8 oz cup, fully boiling water (212°F), steep 5–7 minutes. It will not turn bitter if you steep longer. For a latte, brew double strength and top with steamed milk or oat milk.
Good to know: caffeine-free, sugar-free, vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO.
Ingredients: South African rooibos, cacao shell, South African honeybush, Indian nutmeg, marigold flowers, natural chestnut, hazelnut and chocolate flavors.
Sizes: 4-cup deluxe sample ($4.99) to try it, 15-cup bag, 70-cup bag for everyday drinking.
Great for: tea lattes, dessert pairings and a caffeine-free cup at any hour.

Exactly what I was looking for in a nighttime tea.

I like it for a change of paste my normal Brew

I added a bit of milk and this tasted almost like Bailey's. Great flavor.

Loved it

I was not a fan of silent night. The flavor itself tasted like a very acidic cup of not so great coffee with too much artificial flavor. Granted, the tea itself does not have any artificial flavors listed but that's the best way I can describe it.
It was very punchy & strong. The taste was dark & not at all what I was expecting. It almost tastes like chocolate-y grass with an acidic overload.
This one missed it for me.
