black-metallic-violet-elderberry-black-tea
Violet Elderberry Black Tea, Loose Leaf with Oolong & Lapsang | Black Metallic

Black Metallic is a loose leaf violet elderberry black tea with oolong and Lapsang from Da LBI Tea. Each cup brings notes of candied violet, elderberry, blackberry and incense.

The aroma of darkly seductive violet flowers fills the air. In the first sip purple flowers meet dark elderberry and ripe blackberry. This is a magical black, oolong, and smoked tea blend with rich floral and black berry notes. Berry flavors are deepened by slatey tannins. A faint smokiness lingers in the finish, reminiscent of far-off incense and candle smoke from the smoked lapsang souchong tea. A touch of milk softens the tannins and brightens the berry and floral flavors. An elegant tea for afternoon or with a special dessert. A tea for lovers of violet, dark berries, and incense.

Tasting Notes

Tastes like: Candied violet, elderberry, blackberry, incense

Feels like: Stargazing on an empty beach

Ingredients

Yunnan black tea, Formosa finest oolong tea, Taiwanese Lapsang Souchong black tea, blue mallow flowers, flavors of violet and rose.

Good to know: Gluten-free, vegan, sugar-free, non-GMO.

Caffeine

Contains caffeine.

How to brew

Use 1 teaspoon of tea per 8 oz of water at 212°F and steep 4–5 minutes.

Sizes

Available as a 4-cup deluxe sample, 15-cup bag, 23-cup size or 70-cup bag.

Great for: a cup with milk, an afternoon cup and dessert pairings.

Get Black Metallic in Tea Bags →
